By something unique/special, I mean it! Can't just be 'we've won the premier league more than anyone else' for Manchester Utd. fans for example, but rather something like the one I'm going to give for Everton:

Of all professional football clubs in the world, none have spent as many seasons in the top flight of their country as Everton have. (Unfortunately, I don't remember how many exactly as I read about this in the mid-eighties. Of course, since Everton haven't been relegated since then the record still stands.)

/On second thoughts, winning the premier league more than anyone else is special, so that was a bad example. :)

But you know what I mean, don't just say something like 'we won the 1st division in 1955'! :D

Never relegated, never promoted, and the Only Club to not be named after a Place

Arsenal.

I know another for your club - they have the longest unbroken stint in the top flight. They were in the 1st division since 1919 I believe. :)

/Yep, here we go:

In 1919 Arsenal were controversially elected to the expanded First Division, precedent suggested that Tottenham should have retained their place in the new set-up. However the machinations of Henry Norris meant the new place was awarded to Arsenal instead.

As a result Arsenal are the only club with continuous membership of the top division since 1919 and they are the only league club not to have been promoted on playing merit.

Unfortunately, whilst I was finding that I stumbled across something that contradicts your claim they've never been promotoed.

Now I'm not saying you're wrong, just that someone disagrees with you:

In 1904 the club was promoted to Division One.

Something to do with the club's official nickname?

I would argue that there's no such thing as an official nickname. The club can say 'this is our official nickname' but it doesn't mean anything. It's either a nickname or a proper name, and if adopted officially then it becomes just a proper name. That's the difference between a nickname and a name, the nickname being a casual, unofficial name. :p

On another note, is our nickname The Red Devils? I always thought it was Man Utd. In fact, according to www.manutd.com its 'The Reds'. Odd.

It was definitely The Red Devils in the 80's, but it may have changed.

Arsenal: the only club with a tube station named after them.

Only just - Queens Park/Queens Park Rangers...Tottenham Hale/Tottenham Hotspur...;)

Hmm, and isn't there a station called West Ham? Or is it just East Ham? I can't be bothered checking.

Man City was the only English club to win the championship title without a single foreigner in the squad.

Since when though? Up until twenty years ago, virtually every team in the country had been bereft of foreigners, bar Scots.
