Temp and volts

Hi all , can anyone tell me the max temp i should be allowing when overclocking a SD 4000 @ present i am around 41 degrees under prime and at 1.61 volts , are these ok @2.9 Gig and dare i go any more :eek:

seems alright, try to lower the voltage slightly and see if it is still stable

Hi , it is stable at 2.9gig at 1.63 volts and under load temp is around 39 - 41 degrees if i lower it to 1,6 volts even it fails under prime so i will try to keep it the same for a bit but do you think that is my limit , only i read people at 1.7 volts , or is that a bit too much ??

1.61's more than I would put through it on air, especially if you're going to use it like that regularly, I'd keep it at 1.55 max personally.

Those temps seem fine to me... I get similar on air and mine is only at 2.64ghz

i run 1.7v all day long on water. My cpu is sitting at 2.9ghz at the moment. Still need to have a bit of a play.

So what temps do get under load when at 2.9 gig and 1.7 volts
