is coretemp good enough for cpu temp check?

Coretemp/realtemp both good for seeing the temps of the cores only.
Gpu-z good for gpu info + temps.
Cpuid HW Monitor is a good allround little prog too.

speedfan is old but it shows you all the temperatures and it can plot graphs

I personally think Everest is the best I've used so far. Very accurate from what I've seen.
