You need orthos, prime95 modified for dual core support stress testing.

Yep either run two instances of prime/sp2004 or Orthos dual core edition.

as a general rule (onc you have done what the above have said) anything below 60 degrees at full load is acceptable and should be undamaging (although a bit high)

If you get roughly the same temps as above when doing both cores then its perfectly fine, but cooler is always better

Yer it is for AMDs keep below 60C Intels are a bit stronger and can go up to 70C.
