Just moved all my hardware over from A cheap case into my new Luxe and I was a little concerned regarding my temps.

Whilst browsing the internet and also watching a 1080p stream on Twitch my CPU and GPU are both comfortably sitting at 50 degrees; is this normal?

My cpu is an i5-2500 which I've had since 2011 and alongside the case I also bought a cheap replacement heatsink (Raijintek Aidos) which I'll replace again later. My gpu is an MSI R9 280X which I've had since December last year.

My 840 Evo is also sat at a steady 44 degrees.

I only have the default fans that come with the Luxe in (2x140 I believe, and 1x200)

I'll try playing a game soon and see what it goes up to.

I'm not sure.. I guess I'd just say the normal amount? It is a pretty old cpu, I've had it since late 2011 and it usually does run pretty hot nowadays, I was more concerned with the temps of my 280X to be honest, I think with the Intel heatsink I got around 60 degrees whilst browsing so I'm pretty sure it's an improvement.
 
Ok I think I found out what's wrong... The case fans aren't on. What did I do wrong? I set up the fan hub exactly as stated in the manual and they aren't turning on? :(
 
Have you plugged in the power from the back? and the cpu 3 pin cable into the motherboard?
 
It seems as though the connector won't work with anything other than CPU_Fan; it was on CPU_Fan2 before but obviously my motherboard doesn't have that kind of support for that header to power the fans. It's on CPU_Fan now and they are working fine, but the problem is that I have had to plug the CPU heatsink fan into CHA_Fan. It seems to be working fine, but will this be alright??

I just swapped them around and tried the fan hub connector in CHA_Fan instead and it worked, so put the cpu fan back in the cpu header. Could you please confirm for me that this should be alright now? Thanks :)
