temp replacement for 6970

My 6970 is delayed as I'm up in Scotland. My local store is selling a 430 for 60 bucks, would this do for pysx when I eventually get my card? Means I can at least use my pc in the mean time as I've sold my 5870

I'm in the same boat my 6970 was scheduled for Thursday. Hoping to get it later today though as parcelforce apparently have it in Glasgow as of 5am this morning.

I'd personally just wait for the graphics card to arrive, good things come to those who wait.

Did you call them and request parcel force? Think I could change that to get it sooner?

Royal mail and parxel force both will deliver whatever the weather. Ask dpd to change the delivery address to simewhere on a main road where you can collect it

I hate to sound like a traitor, but I never ordered from OCUK. They never had them in stock when I ordered mine and I got it significantly cheaper elsewhere.

If the price was right and it was in stock I would definitely have ordered from here, as there support and overall professionalism is excellent.
