RAM.. DD4 2X8 16 GB 3200MHZ
psu corsair rm750x
ssd corsair nvme pcle mp510 960 m.2
ENTHOO PRO M TEMPERED GLAss
this system is running at 75c in games.
is that ok for this pc, not overclocked.

Is that stock cooler if so i would say probably about right, my 2600 was in the 70's so i bought a Cryorig cooler which bought it down to 50's

yes stock cooler would adding an extra fan help,already have two front and one extracting on back.

It depends on your budget and also what you want, Air cooled or AIO?

Artcic Freezer 34 is recommended a lot, Noctua are one of the higher quality coolers but cost abit more than the rest... From a personal point of view I'd consider some of the Cryorig coolers but that's because my current one is doing a great job

yes air cooler, i will have a look at Cryorig coolers, thanks,,dont know about budget £40/50.

You'll get a decent cooler for that budget tbh... Watch some reviews on YouTube also.. I'm sure someone will add to this anyway with their recommendations

no worries, Some coolers are worse than the stock ones which is weird as you'd expect something aftermarket to be better... I've selected the two coolers below based on personal opinion with the Cryorig and recommendations for the Scythe, I dont know much about Scythe but they seem to get recommended a lot.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

1 x Cryorig H7 Single Tower Heatsink with 120mm Fan= £34.99
1 x Scythe SCNJ-5000 Ninja 5 CPU cooler - 120mm= £47.99

Total: £91.68 (includes shipping: £8.70)

My temps seem to sit in mid 50's... I'm happy with that but you can get lower for sure

The best air cooler I'd say is the Noctua NH-D15 but that's out of your budget... Everywhere I've looked the reviews are 5/5 stars, Quiet and great temperatures...

In your budget I can only say the ones I've linked above tbh

Noctua NH-D15 looks good and i think it would fit in my case and clear my ram so an extrs £20 would it be worth and a bit of futre proofing?

My Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black cooler had my Ryzen 3700X at around 57°C max under the Cinebench R20 multicore run, and was almost silent as well :cool:
