Hey, I've just put together a pc build for my sister, do you think these readings are decent after putting on an Artic Cooling Freezer 7 pro v.2?

Could anyone give me some insight as to what these readings are and what limits I should be looking out for? Thanks! :D

Idle temps look fine but its the load temps that are important - you're looking at core #0 and #1.

Download 'Core Temp' (better for monitoring temps) and run this at the same time as running prime 95 for approx 10 minutes - and monitor the load temps.

It's an AMD Phenom II 555.

But, as mentioned above, it would be good to know your mates HS and case/fans if his temps are running hot after the prime test.

Sorry, are you asking me what HS? Its my sisters pc, not a mates, so I'm not sure if you're asking me or Lunawolfy?

Its an Artic Cooling Freezer 7 pro v.2 and the case has one intake fan in the front, an intake fan on the side and an exhaust fan at the rear. I'll download Core Temp and have a look at that aswell.

I guess what I'm asking for really is what is the most comfortable limit in terms of heat I should be aiming to stay under. On AMD's site, the details for the 555 phenom II processor say 'Max Temp 70c' so I guess aslong as I keep under the mid 60's there shouldn't cause for concern.

i would be looking at the low 50s myself. i had the same cooler/cpu as you and it was unlocked to 3 cores overclocked to 3.8GHz and it only hit the mid 50s.
