Hi guys. I upgraded my PC this morning and I'm havign some trouble with my CPU temps. I have an Arctice Freezer 7 on an E4300.

TAT says by idle temps are 50oc
CoreTemp says my idle temps are 30oc

I've heard TAT is more accurate, but I can't get my head round why it'd be that hot.

Is TAT ever wrong?

What mobo do you have? Im also getting unusually high idle temps reported by both programs. Im still on stock cooler but wouldnt have expected such high idle temps

I've done some reading and aparently TAT isn't accurate on E4300 CPUs. It read the CPU Tjuction at 100C when it should be 85C I think. Oh well I am going to go against what people here would advise and go with the coretemps, as they seem more likely.
