Can someone please recommend me a good temperature monitor to use with the 4870.

can one of these monitor the temps while i am gaming ,so i can have a look back later at how the card is fluctuating

Yes it can.
What I do is start the program move it to were you will see it ok
then start your game. After you will see
the temps before and how hot things got while you played.


The best app I have come across in years and its FREEEEE :D
 
basically, not unless you have a secondary display of some kind. Although with a lot of the programs you can get them to record the temps so that you have a nice graph of the temps while you were playing.
 
thats exactly what i am after a graph of the card temps while gaming,so which program is best for this

I allways used asus probe :P
I believe speedfan does on the "charts" tab, not sure how good it is though.
Sorry i haven't needed one for years as when i was overclocking heavily i had duel monitors.
