Temperature monitoring programs RealTemp vs CoreTemp

Which is the most accurate for monitoring the CPUs temperature ?

3 Programs give different temperatures:

Core Temp / Real Temp / ASUS Pc Probe II

i find that core temp and real temp come out withe same results but pc probe was way off for me

I thought coretemp and real temp read the same sensors?

Not on my i7 they dont. They all report different temperatures.

Wait on updates for Socket 1366 obv takes time.

Asus Probe reads the Socket Temp (lower) on all my Mobo's.

RealTemp and CoreTemp both read my Diode (higher) and are exactly the same temps.

coretemp and real temp give me exactly the same temps. ive never used the asus program though, is it any good?

Yes but just remember its the socket Temp same as some Apps use inc Speedfan (Reads Socket and ALL Cores).
