Temperature probes

Never installed them before and I am going to buy a fan controller with temperature readings. Where do they go for the CPU and graphics card?

the temp sensor for the cpu goes inbetween the cpu and your cooler and as for the graphic's....i would like to know that as well,ive got 4 temp probes and have alway's wondered where the graphic's probe goes.

I've always applied mine to the base of the heatsink of both CPUs and GPUs, but on the outside. Putting them inbetween the chip and the cooler will give you a better reading, however it will also create a gap between the two surfaces and reduce the effectiveness.
