how is it best to apply a sensor to the mobo or component?

just wedge it, glue it, tape it?

Use a software temperature guage so you get the true reading. e.g CoreTemp

these are the temp probes that came with my Scythe Kaze Master Ace, i always use core temp but it would look crap if all the temp readings on my controller read 0?!

i wont glue them but i will wedge them in a sutable location
