Just wondering if lower temperatures improve performance and vice versa if higher temperatures decrease it.

Cheers for the replies. I wasnt asking for overclocking purposes, just more a generalisation ;) I know its daft but i was thinking higher temps would make the metals in the chips expand and affect performance that way.

Everywhere i looked only said that high temps were a no no, but not why. Don't really know why i thought it couldn't be as simple as that :p
