It really annoying as all softwares temperature showing different. OCCT show 4 degrees lower than realtemp and the same as HWMonitor is 3 degrees lower than realtemp.

Which one is total genuine temperature ?

Why is core 0 on the left side always higher than the core 3 on the right end ?

Realtemp show as core 0 - 85C, core 1 - 83C, core 2 - 81C, core 3 - 80C while the OCCT show as core 0 - 81C, core 1 - 79C, core 2 - 77C, core 3 - 76C and the HWMonitor show as core 0 - 82C, core 1 - 80C, core 2 - 78C, core 3 - 77C.

These are 4.2GHz with standard 1.300vcore and 1.65dram setting after 40 minutes using OCCT Linpack.

it really annoying when it getting at 85C full load on linpack but 83C on prime95. But, when under load, playing microsoft flight simulator x - the temperature is around 74C. I had try everything - push pull fans, still same temperature, try 1600rpm fan - still same temperature, try to turn the cpu cooler to face the rear two fans but temperature is well too high, turn the cpu cooler round to face top case big fan but temperature not bad at 44C idle but still full load of 85C. I don't like the vcore at 1.300v because it make the temperature too high, the reason for this high temperature cos of Hyper-threading enabled but if using 4 cores, 4 threads, the temperature is lots better at 10C degrees lower at around 75C.

I had spend hours and hours re-apply thermal paste, getting frustrated not able to get below 40C idle on 1.300vcore. The Antec 1200 case was suppose to be a good airflow but I am now serious of buying different case with more powerful air flow (a very cold air flow)

Which case is the best chilling cold air flow ? so, 85C on 4.2GHz is not very good (signs !!!) as I do have corsair 750W power supply - does it affect overclocking ? I getting blue screen death if I turn the vcore down to 1.26v.
