GTX 580 Temperature

I started overclocking my CPU a bit last night (i7 920 @ 3.8 GHz) and was monitoring temperatures under load (BFBC2) when I noticed that my GTX580 was at 85°C (Primary 1900 x 1200 maxed settings + 1280 x 1024 secondary monitor).

This is on air cooling in a Coolermaster Stacker 832 Case... Does that seem a bit too high to anyone or is it just me? It has me thinking about reviewing my cooling setup, maybe even buying a new case, but I don't want to do all that just to find out that I was being paranoid lol.

As far as I can tell that seems pretty normal as you are running two monitors and 85c at load isn't excessive.

Ok, was just checking really as I see allot of other people saying that their 580's run at far lower temps under load.

Sounds pretty normal to me, my 580 runs around the same in an antec 1200, all fans on lowest speed setting, with i7 920 at 4ghz.

Well I decided to transplant everything over from a Coolermaster Stacker 832, to a Coolermaster HAF X at the weekend and I'm pleased to report that the 580 has dropped from 85°C to around 75°C under load. Now I'm toying with the idea of liquid cooling it and overclocking the crap out of it.
