Temperatures, please advise comments???

Hi,

Atm I have a amd 64 3500 Newcastle, 1 gig ram (4 x 256btw) nvidia geforce 4 4600ti, 2 x 200g hdd, tft @ 1280 x 1024 res:

these are my current temps, please advise comments:

mobo 37 C
CPU 56 C
samsung hdd 1 : 39 C
maxtor 1: 40 c

cpu : 2312 RPM

Voltages: CPU Core 1.50V
+3.3V 3.31 V
+5 V 5.21 V
+12 V 12.35 V

These temps are when the system is Idle.....What do you think? Please advise

CPU looks very high to me, mine gets to 40 under load (overclocked opty), the Hard drives also look quite hot, they are usually about 30 when idle, have they got a fan blowing over them? Is the A64 overclocked, why does it have 1.5v through it?

1.5V is normal for a Newcastle core. 56C is very hot though if it's right.

mobo - Asus A8V deluxe

Not overclocked...

No fans blowing over it....my room kinda stays hot all the time....which I hate becuz of this prob....

Only last week I cleaned out my hsf and gfx card cooler as games kept freezing not crashing but lagging really badly.....it cured the prob so was just wondered how I can lower the temps?

Get some more fans in there soon, what is the CPU temperature under load?

If this is on stock cooling,get the freezer 64 pro. Case fan or two 7volted would help too.

I remember people always saying the Newcastle cored AMD's ran hot? Mine did too.
