What is the temperature limit on an FX-8350?

Also on HWMonitor I have a CPU temperature from the motherboard and a temperature from the Chip itself - which should I pay most attention to in relation to the thermal limits? Motherboard reading (Sabretooth 990FX V2.0) is always higher by 10-15 degrees).

Thermal Radar also gives a VCORE-1&2 reading - any idea at what sort of temperature I need to start worrying?

1 reading is the CPU the other is the back of the CPU Socket, its down to you to find out what is what :D, but the one you need to watch is the CPU temp not the socket. however all the temps of the bards can and will affect you in some way

TBF on my gryphion the Thermal Radar was poo i would just use HWMonitor

Back when i had an 8350 id watch the packet temp, and i told others to do so too. I would never let my 8350 go over 65C for longer periods of time and i ran that CPU at 4.8GHz 1.48v for years and it never failed me. So if you keep your temps under 65c on the packet you're gonna be just fine.

Install AMD overdrive to best read CPU temps as AMD do not have sensors in each core. Rather its a digital reading. Otherwise read the socket temp and minus about 8 to 10 degress off it to get the cpu temp.
