temperatures.

Not a bad idea, run them under load to check for any problems, ie heatsink not installed properly.
 
If you are on about the system in your sig... I would say not.

I take it that you are fully aware of temps when running 8 hrs of Prime95 at 3.71Ghz ! ! !

If about another or somebodies else system just checking temps initially during bedding in would seem a good idea just to check CPU cooler seating etc
 
ye well the temps are pretty good i reckon, it peaked at 52 degrees after 8 [email protected]
on stock settings (3.1GHz) the temp never goes over 37 degrees on prime 95- that was only 6and a half hrs tho...
GPU gets to 70 odd tho after a couple of hrs on left 4 dead 2 :/
should i be keeping an eye on ram etc or is that not an issue until its overclocked?
