Finally got my AMD Phenom II X6 1090T yesterday and my H70 cooler.
I am wondering if it is worth fitting the H70, it would be rather a tight fit, but does fit.
On air at the moment with a thermal take Heat sink
Temps are as follows (taken these from AMD Over Drive) The room ambient is around 9 degrees! No heating in here, and its how i like it. Nice and cold.
Idle 12 - 15 degrees C
When under load it goes to between 22 and 30 degrees
The large difference is as during the day the room does get a little warmer, but it not broken 30 degrees under full load yet!
Would i really see a temperature change with the H70?
I have not yet over clocked this in any way. But i do intend to do a small over clock maybe.
The speed is just great, This cpu with 8gb Ram and an SSD is fast!
