I've started to have a play round with SpeedFan and Core Temp and the temperature reading in both seem to be way off.

Should I be concerned by the readings in SpeedFan even though Core Temp reports the temperatures of each around 30C?

Cheers

CoreTemp is usually correct, only bug I see with that is sometimes It'll report the wrong CPU multiplier (thinking my cpu is clocked at 8.4GHz instead of 4.2). But grab HW Monitor and I'm sure it'll match CT. SpeedFan has some nice features and a lot of depth but the UI let's it down a lot unfortunately.

For intel use REALTEMP, its better than core temp... HWmonitor is also good

if you want to try and lower your temps, take the cooler off, clean the TIM off the cooler and cpu, apply some new TIM and re-seat the cooler, this usually helps!
