What sort of things are about for quick entry into a vehicle that is easily disposed of?

My mum has just had a smash and needs a car, accident was her fault and has written her car off, so need something for a month or so whilst we find a replacement.

We have found onto, which looks reasonable, any others like that?

Worst case she can have one of mine but I'd rather not as she is all about autos and is a nightmare when on a manual.

I would have thought that Autos wouldn't generally be desirable (and therefore won't be easy to sell on), especially in smaller/cheap cars; there'll also be less choice to buy cheaply/easily.

I wasn't really interested in buying/taxing insuring some old junker which is something she doesn't want, I'll already be wasting too much time finding something she does want, just looking at using a service like onto where you can lease a newish car on a rolling monthly basis whilst we find something she wants.

onto will do the job, it is 400/month all in for an electric city car, no payment for anything else, not even fuel, and we can just hand back without the hassle of finding and selling something temporary when finished, It seems reasonable but as I have only just discovered this option I wasn't sure if there are others, it is loads cheaper than traditional rental companies.

With any luck we'll find her a car this weekend but she is a fussy bugger so I am preparing for the worst.

There's another company called elmo which is similar to Onto, if that helps.

Does she have a home charger? Electric might not be the best option if not.
