Temporary car (Warning: Contains fail)

Nice one. Don't listen all these haters. As long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters. I personally think a leaking roof fixed with white crap which clashes beautifully against the red paintwork adds a certain level of character which you just don't get these days...

Have you seen the gif version of it sinking. :D:D:D

This surfaced (or rather sunk) when Rover went under.
Funniest gif I'd seen in a long time and I laughed so hard.

Fixed the roof, no more leaks now. The first repair didn't quite seal it, so I went OTT and now it's much 'better'.

That one on PH would have done nicely, but I've got to work with what I'm stuck with :p

It came with a nice CD/MP3/USB head unit that wasn't mentioned, which although probably stolen is worth £50.

Plus £150 scrap for the car and I'm £50 down. Oh no! :o

Replaced the thermostat so the engine could actually hold enough heat to work the heaters, much better in this sodding weather.

The smog machine (ZS) will be back soon, I'll miss the RPM of petrol but will be glad to be back in something that isn't covered in rust.

I do indeed, at the moment I have business and work things going on, plus still settling into a new house... when I'm done and finances are sorted, I'll be running the ZS for a little longer then probably joining the leagues of the German non-indicating automotive forces.

You obviously have some kind of hidden 'problem' with me, so why not be man enough to say it?

The fact I spend time and money on 'sheds' is more than enough evidence that when, and not if, I get a 'nice' car from another manufacturer, I will look after it to standards beyond what are considered normal.

So, once again without the politician answer, why shouldn't I own a nice German car?

German cars are **** anyway.

Most cars are if you want the gods honest truth.

It's just Fox's humour innit, don't take it personally.

There has to be a hierarchy and class divide in motors.

Otherwise people lose their hobby.

Don't want too much mobility. No pun intended :p

I don't have a problem with people ripping the car to pieces, yes it's a shed and I know that.

However when some over-ego'd fool comes spouting off about how I should never own something better, that's hardly on is it?

I'll sell him mine for £2000...so no worries there. :p

He (and everyone else) has a very valid point though...you bought a piece of turd here! You also have professed to driving extremely hard and badly in the past...which doesn't lend itself to keeping a BMW (assuming that's what you are talking about) in a good shape.
