The sheer volume of threads relating to Battlefield 3 is pretty ridiculous. Would it be a good idea to open a sub forum for games like this until the excitement dies down.

No doubt there will be masses of MW3 threads and Skyrim threads next month.

Would clean things up a little I think.

Anyone agree?

I have no interest in BF3 but the amount of the threads showing up are hardly causing my eyes to bleed.

Is it really *that* big a deal?

Didnt say it was *that* big of a deal, I just think it clutters the forum up a lot thats all :)

Agreed, it's a pain. In the past, people posting multiple separate threads about a game have been criticised and the threads combined.

Because BF3 is a Shooty Shooty Bang Bang game it get's special treatment and the forum gets cluttered up....

Been done before for WoW, trouble is around this time of year you are going to get a lot of AAA releases so realistically you don't want a BF3 thread, a MW3 thread, a Skriym thread etc, too much maintenance.

I think it would be nice to have a Battlefield 3 sub-forum for a while, the big thread was too big before the game even game out.

Temporary sub-forums seems like overkill. I just wish the mods would have people stick to one thread for the game. The sheer number of BF3 threads is getting on my ****.

How can you stick to one thread for it?
Maybe we should put all PC game related stuff in one big thread, make it easier.

Are you serious?

Yes. If you post a problem you're having, and every single post about BF3 is in one thread, unless one of the next few posters knows the answer, you're probably not going to get help. Your post will be lost forever.

Amazing how we manage it for nearly every other game then isn't it?
