Temporary upgrade?

Hey guys, right now im running a dual core athlon at 2.9ghz and an ATI 4850 with a 400W PSU. Thinking of picking up the 750W Antec PSU while it's on sale and pre-ordering MSI ATI Radeon HD 6950 OC Twin FrozR III, will my CPU be a major bottleneck or will I still see a major upgrade? I'll be getting a full new build over the next couple of months including a 2500k and gen 3 Z68 mobo so any bottleneck will be resolved soon anyway.

i would say both. the CPU will be a bottleneck in most games but you will see a pretty big upgrade. you might as well go for it though if your getting sandybridge pretty soon
