Temporary usage of deionised water?

Long story short, my liquid cooling setup is coming tomorrow and I assumed distilled water would be easy to get hold of. Turns out it's nearly impossible to find.

Could I order some distilled water and use some deionised water with a silver coil for now until it comes then bleed the system and refill? Or will it damage the pump or something? I heard some people use it so I'd assume it's not that bad.

Delivery for the distilled water seems to be quite expensive so chances are I'll only get the standard delivery which may take until around Tuesday next week.

Thanks.

I'll try some garages and such tomorrow.

I tried Halfords, boots, Tesco + sainsburys pharmacy and B&Q earlier today and only had deionised water. Or perhaps I'm going blind :(

Seems like my water cooling setup won't arrive tomorrow anyway- it's still in some warehouse queue despite it being in stock on the website.

Thanks for the ideas of places :)

Ah, great. Thanks.

I heard in some places deionised water still has some impurities which would affect the loop over time whereas distilled water is completely pure H2o. Equally, I've also heard some people use it with no problems.

If I can't find distilled then I'll just keep using ionised as it's cheap as chips :)
Thanks for the help.
