Temps a bit high?

Hey guys,

Used ATI Overdrive to OC my HD6870, managed 960MHz on GPU Core Clock, and 1235MHz GPU Memory Clock.

Personally think that's a decent clock

However, the temperature now (so nowhere near load, haven't tried load yet as haven't had the chance) is 53 degrees according to GPU-Z (which uses the on-board die controller, iirc?). Is this too high?

That was odd. Loaded up CoD:WaW.

PLayed for 10 mins, (temps hit max of 59 degrees), yet the screen split into two and the LHS moved to the RHS of my monitor and vice versa.

Ideas?

You checked all the settings to make sure they're all correct?

Mhmm.

Is that whats known as shearing? Not sure if V-Sync was on.
