hi guys,

just wondering while i play bf3 on ultra on 1280x 1024 i can maintain a 45-60 fps but my temps are 6-67 degrees is still safe?

i just dont want this card to die so quick as im just a student and well i cannot always rely on my mother for cash.

is there any otherway i can bring down temps my fan speed in msi is at 50 percent and its loud.

thanks :cool::p:D:)

Your temperatures are fine for that card. I have one myself in a box in the garage :)

Although with that card if I were you, I'd play on High settings with deferred AA off and post processing on High. This will probably give you a smoother experience with a fairly small drop in image quality.

hello,

you have one in the garrage lol ill hapily take that of your hands :D, and just oone question at your signiture were you have all your pc information how do you do that.

thanks.

2 would sound like Concorde taking off! :)

They aren't the quietest cards but they do offer a great performance/£ ratio.

Regarding signature: User CP -> Edit Signature

Think my old HIS used to hit night on 80-85 degrees with stock cooler. Crossfire was a nightmare.

Won't go above 52 degrees with the Gelid Icy V2 on though :) (single card). When the computer idles the fans switch off completely (speedfan custom profile), and the card sticks at 38 degrees idle :D

You are about 23-30 degrees below the average GPU threshold. You are safe.

That is normal for the 6870.
