Temps going crazy

I've just changed case and cooler, and my i5 4670k temps are going crazy! They are hitting 100C on Prime according to HWMonitor and RealTemp, however Asus AI Suite says it is only at 63. This is at stock clocks, stock voltage (I think 1.07V). I've reapplied thermal paste once to no avail.

The cooler is a Rajintek Zelos with a 92mm Noiseblocker, and case is a CM Elite 130. No GPU giving off heat atm. While it might not sound like a great scenario, I'd expect more than this! The PSU is directly above it extracting air, I've tried flipping it, no effect. I even took all the panels off and had a 120mm fan next to it exhausting, no effect again. The air felt cold.

I'm thinking this could be a faulty sensor? Any help appreciated.

Can only try remounting it, it's unlikely to be a dodgy sensor if it's what Realtemp is reading as that takes it straight of the CPU.

I've just gone and tighten the backplate a pants pooing amount (the grinding of pcb is not well received by my ears) and it seems to have lowered the temps to a max of 89. While this is still way too high imo, it'll do for now. If it worsens I'll remount.
