So who else's systems have overheated today? ;) :o

My P4 rig is running 41c CPU and 40c case temp. My dual P3 500MHz file server overheated an hour ago at 70c. Some alarm went off that I hadn't heard from it before and so after investigating I shut it down :o

Shockingly, my brother's Prescott P4 has barely broken a sweat at 37c. Although its CPU fan is audibly louder today.

Mines badly overheating. :(

CPU (X2 3800+ @ stock) - 58c
System Temp - 48c
Hard Drive - 54c

EDIT: cpu is now at 60c

My 4400+ @ 2.6GHz is at about 51C - hardly any change there *strokes Freezer 64 Pro*

However, my X1900XT died last night at OCd settings of 650/751. Lowered it back to stock and the temps were still high but didn't crash. At the moment it is as 52C at idle AND the IceQ 3 fan is spinning close to 40% - its normally at 25% and usually keeps the temps below 45C.

This is what I get for having an upstairs, south-facing bedroom :(

My Barton 2500 was clocked at 200x11 and running at 85c . I've had to whack it down to the normal 166x11 (I think).

Going to pop out Monday lunchtime and look into some new thermal gel I think. Possibly a new fan if Mr Barclays let's me.

X2-4400 / Scythe ninja heatsink with quiet 120mm fan

@ 42c stock

system temps are 45c

Hdd 300gigger seagate is 40c has a 120mm quiet fan blowing over it, overall pcs quiet :)

Am happy cos thats with 31c inside my microwave box bedroom/windows wide open as always though.

7900GT with Zalman VF-900: 53 degrees C  and my room is HOT

I shall be aquiring a Zalman GPU cooler shortly. I was going to leave it longer but if the weather stays like this I am going to be restricted to nocturnal gaming if I don't get one soon!

My 64 4000+ (clawhammer core) is at 46 degrees (stock) with an Akasa AK-859.

That is 3 or 4 above normal load temps ;)

System temp is 37 degrees, not much change there (A8N-SLI Deluxe and Antec Plusview 1000AMG).

My P4 Northwood C 2.8GHz @ 3.2GHz is running at 36c with a Zalman CNPS7700-Cu heatsink (on full speed), Case temp is 35c and my Gigabyte 6600gt passive is running at 61c.

- PC is idle though.

My barton 2500 clocked at 220x11 is currently hitting 55c. I down clocked the bugger to 200x11 which lowered temps a bit. These temps would be lower if I actually cleaned the hsf (aero7+) which is packed with dust.

My P4 3.2ghz jobby is sitting nearby running at 47c. Case also requires a major clean!

I used to always clean my case and heatsink, stopped though because I always seemed to get dust on my contact lenses  ...and I'm just lazy :p

My CPU is at 39C but that is the probe on the heatsink. I've heard the fan spinning faster and lower all day but it seems like it's decided to stay on high for a while.

CPU @ 34°C idle (see sig, @ 2.4GHz - Zalman 9500 ))
chipset @ 48°C
PWN @ 44°C
GFX @ 44°C (Zalman VF900 :))

Thats after turning the fans up, chepset was idling at 53°C :(

stupid weather.....
