Temps not right?

Hi.

My specs.

P5K-C
Q6600 G0 @3GHZ 1.3250 vid with 1.4v in bios (theres a large vdroop as cpu volts go to about 1.270 (cpuz says) when priming.
4GB 2X2GB KINGSTON DDR2 8500 @ DDR 800 SPEEDS
SB AUDIGY 2 ZS

I have overclocked my q6600 to 3ghz, yet idle temps are reaching to the 40 mark. Roughly at the mo its 40,45,38,39 with Tuniq Tower which has a antec tri-cool 120mm fan at high speed tho its barely audiable and the hsf is cold to touch even the heatpipes. Load temps are 70,73,70,70

What am i doing wrong?

Redone the tim, did the line method this time with no help from akasa cleaner to smooth it, and reseated it better i think. Will let u know the temps tomorrow when i get me new gtx 260 cos figured just use my bros pc till then cos need to clean it up what i put on lol.
