temps on 5950x

Yep, 1080ti is in the loop, rads are 2x 420mm EK.
Top one is 45mm thick, front is 30mm

CPU is running with PBO enabled (custom PPT, EDC) if I turn it off MT Cinebench temps drop to around 55-60c

Thanks. It confirms what I suspect, the 5950x temps in a custom loop is identical to just using a 240mm AIO. So the main benefit of a loop is GPU cooling

I have 5950X overclocked to 4.65GHz on all cores at 1.325 vCore. GPU also in the loop - 3090 FE and also overclocked. Cooling with standard thickness 420mm rad in the top and a thick 280mm rad in the front with fans in push/pull.

Temps at 'idle' at 39c /34c package / die.
Temps running Cinebench R23 are 70-75 package/die. (Cinebench score 29500 or so)
Ambient temp is 20-22c.

I have 3090 GPU in the loop as well.

With Cinebench and Furmark running and letting things run for 5-10mins CPU temps go to high 80s GPU goes to high 40s to low 50s (it's drawing 400W).

What water temps are you seeing? Mine seems to have increased slightly with the latest bios for my board. Getting about 40c water temp with ambient of 23c 3090 and 5950x are in the same loop.

What rad space do you have? That sounds pretty high in terms of water temp - I put custom fan / pump curves on mine so they really turn up when the water temp gets to 30c as i don't want the water temp going too much higher than that. Then i get the temps as mentioned above for the components.

I have 2-gts blackice nemesis. 1x280 1x420 with 5 140mm 2000rpm Corsair mls on them. Plus 1 140 ml as an exhaust.

Around just over 30 on idle, cores around 27. Single 360 (xr7), fans in pull (ML on fairly low rpm), techn block, kryonaut, d5 running around 1300rpm, ambient around 20deg+. Load temps entirely dependant on bios setup / oc and will be different per setup.
