Hi there, I have an E6400 2.13ghz @stock, 2mb level 2 cache.
At the moment its running at 310X8=2408MHz vcore=1.296v
Using thermal analysis tool at idle cpu temps are 45, 42
At load they are 60,58 (with 120mm case fans off)
At load they are 57,55 (with 120mm case fans on)

I think these values seem high and would like a second oppinion?

could be lack of air flow inside the case or lack of case fans .. it could also be room temp! tidy your cables install a few more case fans ensuring the air flow is in the right direction, then try and position the PC away from radiators and vent the room by opening the windows more often.

Try Arctic Cooling MX-2 paste, it works wonders!

im using arctic cooling pro 7 on cpu and
2X 120mm noctua fans on case
2x 80mm noctua fans (one on vga heatsink for hd2900pro, one on hd's)

I also have an akasa fan controller which controls the 4 noctua fans, thats what i was meaning by 120mm fans turned to there maximun speed or turned to there slowest setting
