I've just moved from an old knackered case to a new Corsair 500r, I've also switched from the H50 to a K2.

I've reseated the CPU 2 times now, once doing the spread trick and other spot.

As you can see, I'm hitting sub 80'c in doing IntelBurn at 1.25+ volts...

H50 could hold it under 70'c. Something must be wrong?

What's the airflow like in your new case? Plenty of intake and exhaust? Also, what's the rpm reporting on your CPU cooler fan? I've had issues like this before and found that the cooler fan wasn't speeding up during load.

Standard fans that came with the case. 2 front, 1 rear and 1 side. The CPU fans do ramp up when under load.

I just don't know if I've seated or not done the paste right?

Does seem a bit high, also using a k2 here, in my old case my cpu was maxing at 74c under the k2. Getting 80c max now, due to the new case having limited airflow. Perhaps swapping the intake fans will help a bit. Also, how much thermal paste did you apply.
