Those are extremely high for a 3.0ghz overclock, make sure the cooler is seated properly and try to see if you can lower the voltage a bit, most q6600's should do 3.0ghz on stock volts or a slight increase.
They are a tad too high IMO. My old q6600 in a p180 at 3.2ghz was running 70 degrees max on prime 95.
I hate coolers that use push through clips like the arctic.
First check that the clips are all the way through the motherboard and the heatsink is making even contact. Also what thermal paste are you using? Did you put on too much?
IBT will add far more heat then prime will do, try running ur clock on prime for 15 mins and see what the temps are on that, as most things u do will ever reach IBT loads/temps.
Generally i found that IBT added about 5c to load temps compared to p95. I had a q6600 at 3.8ghz with 1.5vcore running through it, temps running IBT were in the low 70's.
Ah local computer shops gotta love em, when i took mine in for a repair i could'nt do myself due to lack of software at the time, i noticed my temps where off abit, so i reseated my cooler with far less TIM and lower temps came lol.
Theres a possibility they may have slapped on a bit to much, all a q6600 needs is a fine line across the cores, then the pressure of the heatsink will spread it out. If you decide to reseat the cooler and reapply the paste yourself, follow this guide here.
