3000 venice, ok it runs a tad hot cus I'm pumping 1.5v @ 2.6ghz with stock cooler, but it used to do 2.7 at about 35-40 under load.

So why am I hitting 55 degrees at 6000 rpm at IDLE?

Enable-ing "Q fan" has dropped it to 2000rpm and 50degrees?!, I'm lost. :)

Any advice? Anyway I can get my case airflow better?

ATM i have :

one back sucking air out, one front pulling air in and one side which can suck out or blow in depending on which way i put it. I tried sticking a big house fan next to it but just made temps rise :/

Help?

I did reseat it, like a week ago, temps dropped a lot, also cleaned out then too. Just all of a sudden shot up,

yes its hot but, over 10 degrees? Constant?

That is hot, but everyone is having high temps at the moment - look around the forum. My X2 3800+ normally has a loaded temp of about 40C, at the moment it is 48C.

If there is nothing you can do about it (if I remember correctly, you don't have enough cash for a new heatsink), why don't you just limit your use of it?

limit my use D: !

This pc just been annoying my lately anyway, better I sell it the happie i'll be :)

Note: Just put pc on my desk, ram is running firhgningly hot! unable to touch the heatspreaders. Stuck a fan blowing hot air away, temps gone down a few. And my pc just froze playing css. >.>

I just though 10 degress was too hot for a simple weather temp shift. but no problem. :)

I don't feel so bad that my system has thrown the occassional wobbler lately, now that I've read the amount of systems on the forums that have also tripped at the first fence.

Cpu ............. 51 on Load
System ........ 48 -"-
GPU's ........... 54 -"-
HD 1 & 2 ....... 32 -"-

Heh - think of poor old me with PenD 805 - now there IS a Hot runnin chip :P

I've backed off my overclock until I get some better Northbridge/Power Regulator cooling.

At 3.7Ghz I idle around 40C, and Load will push between 60-65 depending on how Im Loading. Games 58 - 62C, Prime testing 64-66C.

I often find you have a winter OC and a Summer OC.

Moving home to sunny Grantham from Icy Lancaster has effected my temps by a degree or two i think!

OC is still stable though :/

Stupid low volts
