hey guys i have finaly got my pc working, an was just wondering if my temps sound about right ?

acording to nvidia moniter

the cpu is at 48'c
gpu is at 57'c
system is at 44'c but its flashing red at me .

when i enter pc probe it warns me that my gpu fan isnt working but i can clearly see it is.

my specs are.

asus a8n-sli deluxe
amd 3700+
3d fusion 7600gs 256mb
pny tec 1gig ram.

i have 2 case fans to help cooling as well. i havent done any clocking as i dont know how lol.

any info would be great.

cheers dave.

The cpu temps for an 3700+ sandy seems a little high, what cooler are you using, and what does your temps read in the bios.

if your ambient case temp is correct at 44 degrees then you seriously need to get some airflow through it, this will be causing your CPU to stay so warm, as an air cooler can only cool to what temp the ambient is anyway. you should check your front fan is blowing in and your rear fan is blowing out, as if both fans are blowing in/out then your going to cause basically zero through-flow of cool air
also check if you have dust covers that they are not totally blocked up, is the case inside anything like a PC tower holder on the desk? some of these are so tight and restrictive that they can seriously reduce airflow and also reflect the exhausted heat back into the case

48°C is very high for idle  Sure you have the HSF seatting properly with right amount of thermal compound (see here)?

Case temps are also high, which results in everything else being high. Like mikeymike advised, make sure the front-intake fan is sucking in air (small engraved arrows on side-body of fan should direct you). & at the back the out-take fan is blowing warm/hot air out :)

the case doesnt have a front fan, but i can get one fitted, it is in a enclosed space but has around 3'' an the back and 4'' at one side to allow air into the side fan. ive just checked the ehxaust fan and its blowing in so il change that over.

the cpu is running the standerd heat sink for now but i will order one of them srtic cooler things.

any ideas why it says the gpu isnt spinning in pc probe ?

cheers for the help so far guys.
