Temps?

It's sweltering here in the south east, what are peoples idle temps like?

the cores on my q6600 are ranging between 44-48

Is this acceptable given the hot weather?

My dual core is idling at about 38 to 40, going up to maybe 50 midway through a game of Company Of Heroes

Im now idling 36-29-37-37 at 27C ambient temp.
Hot weather brought some issues to light tho and I spent last night doing some tweaking

Im thinking of putting my sharkoon silent eagle 2000 fans back onto my TRUE, the pwm models arent great tbh in this weather and im itching to push my overclock a bit further.

38-39c idle, 52-55c full load
TRUE with NF-P12 noctua fan
Q6600 @ 3.6ghz

i also have chucked a desk fan blowing into pc with side off heh

Those load temps are extremely good for 3.6ghz, particularly in this weather.

Intel burn test is getting my new E8500 (stock volts @ 3.6GHz) right up to 63ish :eek:

But prime only gets it to 50 odd, and the temps go right down to 35c in about 30seconds when IBT stops im worried theres something up!
