Temps

Hi All,

At the moment I am using an intel i5-4460 and I notice my temps are around 50/60 is this too high and if so what should I do to bring them down.

Is that idle or at load?

if idle what are the full load temps.

Idle load is around 70

That's far too high for idle. I'd replace the cooler or at least replace the thermal paste, that can dry out over time & affect CPU temps.

Your cooler might just need some cleaning. I'd imagine at those temps the airflow has been completely clogged up with dust.
Take it off, give it a good cleaning and reseat it with some fresh paste.

It has been fully cleaned out but paste not repalce in 4 years
