OK, lead you in on a spurious title ( i had to Google Spell 'spurios' )

The legendary band from the eighties, Heaven 17, had this line in their song, Temptation ( see title makes sense now )

Everything I have is yours

I'm rather drunk, but what does this mean ?

A ) I'm very generous and you can have all my stuff ?

B ) I own nothing but have stolen all your stuff ?

Thanks

Hang on - you are a little drunk and it is not even 9pm!

And what is a Sex Pistols fan listening to New Romantic stuff - Heaven 17 my giddy aunt.

Look lyrics are poetry and the secret to understanding it (speaking as your attorney) is to read the bit before and after. The song is about Temptation see,

So you are tempted by the ladies and gambling..... the song refers to make an offer - I can't refuse and come home and everything I have is yours i.e. we have had a chip shop-fumble lets get off home and you can put your finger in my belly button. You know heavy petting like at the baths.

So you snizzle my nizzle?

OK, makes sense.

Think i prefer the 'i nicked all your stuff' version actually.

PS pre 9pm drunkenss is acceptable, i think, well it is today, **** it

PPS John Lydon is a god, but i like to listen to lyrics
