Tempted to start doing some track days. :)

Do they even do trackdays at Spa? I'm pretty sure they didn't before as part of it was a public road until recently so it would only open if there was a race event on.

I'm fortunate enough to have raced at Spa and it will go down as one of the best weekends of my life, sitting at the bottom of Eau Rouge waiting to come out of the paddock will be in my mind forever - it's just so steep, much more than it looks on TV. It took me all night pretty much to drive there, but I was towing with a two wheel car trailer so couldn't exactly get any decent speed going.

They do lots of track days at Spa, they are not cheap but they are very good, though at £125 per metre for barrier damage don't get it wrong.

Ahhh cool, thanks for clearing that up. I did wonder if they did now as the public road was closed a few years ago. I would heartily recommend driving the track, almost tempted to go back myself now I've heard that!

Gibbo, Donington seems to have reopened for track days - there was one there on Saturday. Very tempted to do one up there again before the end of the year.

Yep likewise, be nice for dry weather, might not happen that time of year but could still go and well just take it easier. :)

In fact, Neil, did you use 5th?

In the CSL can't remember what gear I was getting upto due to SMG/paddles you kinda don't focus on which gear your in on straights just change up whent he lights flash. :D

Think I was hitting around 135ish before having to brakefor the chicane on the Dunlop straight.
