Do they even do trackdays at Spa? I'm pretty sure they didn't before as part of it was a public road until recently so it would only open if there was a race event on.
I'm fortunate enough to have raced at Spa and it will go down as one of the best weekends of my life, sitting at the bottom of Eau Rouge waiting to come out of the paddock will be in my mind forever - it's just so steep, much more than it looks on TV. It took me all night pretty much to drive there, but I was towing with a two wheel car trailer so couldn't exactly get any decent speed going.
They do lots of track days at Spa, they are not cheap but they are very good, though at £125 per metre for barrier damage don't get it wrong.
Gibbo, Donington seems to have reopened for track days - there was one there on Saturday. Very tempted to do one up there again before the end of the year.
Yep likewise, be nice for dry weather, might not happen that time of year but could still go and well just take it easier.![]()
MLR are running a noise free day at Donington on Friday 10th September.
Hmmmm, track day = a legal place to drive at 145 mph![]()
I bet the BMW driver was really impressed about that one!
In fact, Neil, did you use 5th?
