Tempted with 5870 crossfire...

With the price drop of the 5870, I am tempted to buy another 1 and crossfire. However, I'm wondering whether my current PSU will be up to the job??? It's a Corsair TX 650W.

The rest of my system is:

Gigabyte EX58-UD5
i7 D0 @ 4Ghz (pre-overclocked)
6GB DDR3
Powercolor Radeon HD5870
Samsung SpinPoint F3 (500GB)

Any advice/ information much appreciated.

Must admit I gave it a passing thought as well today, seeing as I have always panned multi gpu though I could never live it down

I think it's risky with your current psu but you never know

to be honest mate i would not bother with crossfire. The frames increase in some games is not worth the microstutter in other games. Microstutter is dreadful its basically makes the game unplayable. As for your psu i think it would be possible but its gonna be risky, personally i dont think its gonna be worth taking out the rest of your awesome system. But i'd stick with a single 5870 stunning card really
