or do you mean Tempur ?![]()
Never tried one myself but from folks who have I hear they are very comfortable but can make you uncomfortably hot
There are three basic thickness, the thicker it is, the more you can sink into it and the more expensive. Strangely, the thinner it is, the firmer it is (to a point). I'm not sure I'd recommend it to someone who has difficulty getting out of bed (nothing to do with laziness) as you do tend to sink into them especially the thicker ones but the thin to medium ones are just fine. As for being hot, I guess they probably are but that also depends on the sheets you use - try a good thick cotton and it shouldn't be as bad. Oh and they're unbelievably heavy!Old No.7 said:Does anyone have one of these mattresses? I'm thinking about getting one, but I just wondered if anyone here has used one before so that I could get an honest opinion and not a sales brochure one.

Makro have these in atm at £28+VAT per pair, which I was pleased with as I couldn't find them for that much EACH online.I'd really like to hear more on this.scratch said:Whatever you do just don't go spending the £1000 upwards that Tempur charge. I got mine off of eBay and it cost £150 brand new including P&P. You'll need to do some reasearch as some of the cheaper ones on there use a much lower density (cheaper) foam, but I've tried proper Tempur matresses and mine compares favourably.
