Great price on the sammy blu ray drive, 8x read speed is a lot better than my current LG H20L, and the sammy is much better looking.

Excellent drive, got it elsewhere for £48, retail version comes with powerDvd 8 and after an online update plays blu-ray movies no probs. looks great on my 23" sammy 1080p.:)

Are you saying PowerDVD needs an upgrade in order to play BD movies or that the drive itself needs a firmware update?

Will WMP not play BD movies with this drive?

WMP won't play BD movies no, the PowerDVD software when installed will download a few updates for newer disks though before you can use it.

Though as stated earlier this is an OEM drive with no software.

Maybe I am a bit out of the loop but i7 930 for £230 was it not that price on release and has always been that price? (Quick google reveals it at £215 from a reputable site and instock  )

and the h50 for £59 wtf I swear I got mine from here for like £53-54 aaagggggeeeessss ago on this week only!

I am not sad enough to watch every little inywiny price fluctuation but surely the price has to significant enough a saving that you actually notice a ******* difference and makes you want to buy?!?!

I'm sorry, I just feel like looking in these threads are a waste of ******* time.
