I use Microsoft Terminal Services Console to connect to my work PC and have have no problems in doing so for the last few years.

For some reason, it has gone *really* slow. Unusable in fact. I have tried from 3 different machines at home, and they all have the same problem. (it's fine from anywhere else)

I can only assume it's one of 2 things. Either my new router is to blame (Draytek Vigor 2600) or Plusnet are limiting badwidth. I cant see how it is either.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to find out ?

Thanks for the advice. I already go in on a random port, and redirect it once it get to my works ISA Server to my workstation.

Saying that - don't plusnet have kit that can detect exactly what traffic you are doing regardless of what port its on ?

Damn. I asked Plusnet if it could be them.

We are aware of issues wereby our ellacoya network is squeezing traffic of this sort. Please view our service status pages for further information regarding this.

Might have to find a descent ISP at this rate ;)

Well I may not have a choice.
I generally don't go near all the usage limits. So I only find them annoying in principle. I have done once, and found my internet exprience to be worse than that of a modem for a day or 2

Thing is, I need to be able to access my work PC, and if they start messing with ports to this extent - then I will have to find an alternative.

I have been told some encryption software called Stunnel might fool the Ellacoyas. So I might give that a try.
