Terminal Software

Hi people,

I'm looking for a reasonably decent terminal, I've tried minicom but it doesn't seem to work. I guess I'm looking for a terminal that is like TeraTerm for windows but obviously i need it for linux and command line only.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm not sure I understand. What's wrong with the standard terminal that comes with your distribution?

I want to be able to access the console of a Sunfire V100 server via the LOM port, using a HP ProLiant Server as the host. The Sunfire is connected using a console cable from the Serial port of the ProLiant. The ProLiant is running gentoo, and minicom doesn't seem to talk to a powered on device. TeraTerm for windows does exactly what I need, but I need it in linux and command line only.
