Terminator 2 rip off film

Ok,

A few years ago I saw a film, well actually only caught a few mins of it when channel hopping. The strange thing is, one of the scenes in it was directly taken out of terminator 2 (the part when they go to blow up the cyberdyne factory) with little to no modifications made. When I say it was directly taken from terminator 2, I dont mean just coppied, I mean the whole scene was just lifted and chopped up a bit.

I dont know if I took it out of context or whatever because I only saw a few mins of the film, but I would really like to know what it is.

Anyone have any ideas?

And no it wasnt Terminator 2.
 
Shocking dark? ive heard that is apparently a blatant ripoff of aliens and t2. also know as alienator lol

There was Hardware, released in 1990, so 6 years after original T1, which was basically a poor man's British terminator + Fields Of The Nephilim's Preacher Man story in one.

Available in bargain bin at the back of the VHS second hand store near you. ;)
 
To the OP, i know what film you mean but can't for the life of me remember the name. I think it was on channel 5 or sci-fi a while back and i think had the guy who plays yuri out of the c&c red alert series in it.

I know the scene your on about, the yuri guy and some henchmen go to a building to steal something (building being cyberdyne out of T2), ans the cops turn up and its basically the scene where arnie is shooting them with the minigun, replaced with about 3 guys with sub machine guns. :D

Yes! thats the one. So I wasnt just me then, they did actually just lift the scene from T2.

I gotta find out which film this is.

Yeah thats his name, couldn't remember it. Maybe searching on imdb for his films will jog a memory or something, i'll have a look.

Edit: FOUND IT!!! Its called Critical Mass, sounds like it anyway going off the comments on imdb. Wish i could find footage of it, how they weren't sued i've no idea.

Zomg what effects 1111. O and not a cyberdyne factory, the cyberdyn headquarters :p

Saw hardware on holiday and it was pretty epic tbh for what i expected to be horrifically bad.
