Description
Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance is a real-time strategy game based on the Terminator: Dark Fate universe that follows the war between humanity and Legion's synthetic intelligent machine network. In the single-player campaign, you take the role of a commander in the Founders, a force made up of the remnants of the US military and guide your army in an attempt to foil Legion's plan to exterminate the last remnants of humanity. In skirmish and multiplayer modes, play as three very diverse factions: Founders, Resistance and Legion.

Take control of an army carried over from mission to mission on a series of large strategic maps. Make decisions about unit placement, battle tactics and abilities so that you just don’t survive but become the leader of the resistance against the machines. Hone your skills and military expertise by replaying and achieving the best possible outcomes.

lookinh good on initial iewing but so many games in the series were a mixed bag. lets hope this isnt one of them!

I really want a decent Terminator game. I played what I think is the previous one, Terminator Resistance, and it was okay in parts but nothing special. That was an FPS though so not sure how this be.

edit: finished watching the first video, looks promising :)

well i guess its the latest "current" time line as i unerstand the franchise (i tried check online for explanations but no one seems definatively sure :D)

but i could see a DLC release as a "time flash", Human only campaigne - get person to time machine / flash the world changes
episode 2, aquire t800's - aquire repogramming facilitie - aquire access/build time machine.
episode 3, differant technoligies differant time line differant characters, get suppies to build time machine.. ect
ect

in that way you could tie in all the movies i guess and see the evolution of various vehicles/equipment and characters.
your then creating the dark fate time line.

As for the dark fate timeline its self? well meh the movies have buggered the time line all up as it is after T2. but i admit i missed the Dark Fate Movie socant comment on that spesifcally.

i think it has potential but i wonder if they will try and do there own thing / branch of time line or if they will try and fit it in properly to the time line(s).

i think the last Terminator game i enjoyed was : Terminator 3: War of the Machines (FPS Online) - i still have this some were.
 
yep i saw "Aliens dark descent" (from now on i'm calling it "ADD" it'll confuse people more :D)
i was a bit mixed about ADD seeing the trailer, it could be good but need more details on it. has that gritty tension to it, and vibe.
there is certainly lots in the univers they could explore. the recent book

Alien: Enemy of My Enemy​

tries to canonis and bring it all togeather from covenant to the main alien time line.
but i think ADD needs its own thread potentially.
