Do the Terratec Aureon 5.1/7.1 pass Dolby Digital and DTS via digital output? Not bothered with analogue outputs, the digital signal will be routed to a AV pre-amp for DD/DTS processsing

If the soundcard has a digital output advertised it will mean that it is capable of passing the signal through from a DVD player or similar.

Yep I jsut bought the card. It does DTS passthrough as well as Dolby.

Are you connecting the soundcard to a AV amplifier over digital? And the Dolby Digital or DTS lights up on the amp to show it's working? ta also does the soundcard output 44.1khz PCM as 44.1khz or does it resample to 48khz? (again digital output)
