Hi Guys,

I've just seen TerraTech on Kick Starter and wonder what your thoughts are on this type of game.

Looks like a cool game, granted not a crysis but reminds me of my child hood :D.

Seems like it would be a laugh for a bash every now and again.

Think it will take off?

Nope not had any bad experiences, although I'm not entirely confident in Star Citizen, but I'm not comfortable in putting money towards a product I don't 100% want,

yeh i can understand that i want to donate to this but with not playing a demo or seeing more game play not sure. dear me i can be a tight git :D

This takes me way back to 2 games I used to play, although emphasis was more on programming the AI than vehicle construction.

Does anyone remember Omega (Amige/AtariST/early PC from Origin, 1990) or Colobot (by an obscure group called Epsitec, from sometime in the late '90s, I think)? You programmed the AI and then battled it out against AI vehicles (Omega) or completed quite complex tasks (Colobot).

Omega uses procedural programming while Colobot is object oriented. They were and still are unique and still work in DOSBox or Emulator (Omega) or under Windows 7-64 in XP compatibility mode (Colobot). There hasn't been anything like these since. Highly recommended, even now.
